1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data through Supabase, our authentication provider. If you sign up via Google or GitHub, we receive your name and email from those services.

1.2 Billing Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details — we only retain your subscription plan, billing status, and Stripe customer ID for account management.

1.3 API Usage Data
We log API requests including endpoint used, timestamp, and credits consumed, to enforce usage limits and provide you with accurate billing. We do not store the content of your API requests (prompts, generated text, images, or audio) beyond what's necessary to complete the request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Authenticate your account and manage your API key

  • Process payments and manage subscriptions

  • Track credit usage and enforce plan limits

  • Send transactional emails (welcome, payment failures, credit usage alerts)

  • Improve and maintain the API and dashboard

3. Third-Party Services

Apiarium routes your API requests to third-party AI providers to fulfill them, including OpenAI and Anthropic. When you use our API, the content of your requests (text, images, audio) is sent to these providers to generate a response, subject to their own privacy policies and usage terms. We do not control how these providers handle data once it leaves our infrastructure.

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Supabase — authentication and database

  • Stripe — payment processing

  • Resend — transactional email delivery

  • Railway — application hosting

  • OpenAI and Anthropic — AI model providers

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management via Supabase). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your API key and account directly from your dashboard.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted API key storage and HTTPS-only connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
